There's a man to the left of me and another to the right
Both are pushing Kool Aid but it's laced with cyanide
Neither says it's poisonous but when I asked to see some proof
They just quickly turned away, running from the truth
One says he's conservative with Jesus on his side
The other says he's on the left and the left is always right
But they have much in common, one thing they'll always do -
contaminate to evidence while running from the truth
Now don't it make you feel somewhat uncomfortable
that the actors in this play take us for fools
and don't you want to hold someone responsible
for taking everything we have and running from the truth
Half of them are criminals and all of them tell lies
that's the way they operate
that's how their kind survives
they pray that we are blinded by the smoke they put us through
but they can't stay invisible while running from the truth
